Customer Relations Advisor

You’ll already have a taste for providing brilliant customer service.  Building on your experience, you will join as one of our sleep ambassadors and learn the brand and products to communicate with our diverse array of customers experiencing our online shop in a inbound sales environment.  

A full time customer service role is available within our dynamic online based company, 'Get Laid Beds'. We are a young, modern, energetic company and produce a worldwide renowned natural range of handmade wooden bed frames and mattresses, all of which are made in our own factory in Leicester.

We are a rapidly growing company, with exciting opportunities and we have recently opened a showroom at our workshop in Blaby, which is just a few miles south of Leicester city centre.

This is a challenging, exciting yet enjoyable environment and you will work alongside a small friendly office team to aid in customer support, sales, logistics, complaints and many other general administrative office roles.

The Role:

General customer support and sales via phone, email and face to face in our showroom. Other administrative office roles will also be required. ( There is no cold calling involved - only inbound sale enquires by genuine customers )

The Person:

For this role of Customer Service Administrator, Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Have a confident, engaging, polite and clear phone voice.

  • Good IT skills – (daily use of order management software - you will be trained to use)

  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grade C or above. Maths skills is necessary for the job.

  • Good English Grammar is important.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to handle pressure

  • Highly Effective time management

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

  • Portray professionalism at all times

  • Show and use initiative

  • Be flexible within the role

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Customer Services.

  • You will have a positive attitude

  • Commitment to the role

  • Be self motivated

  • Be willing to learn new skills

  • Have the ability to work well with all kinds of people

Also Desirable:

  • Previous experience using a Content Management System CMS

Hours:

  • Full time: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm

  • 1 in 3 Saturdays 10am - 4pm on a rotating basis, you will be given a day off in the week when working a Saturday.

Pay:

  • £16,000 to £22,000 PA (depending on skills & experience).

Details:

28 Days Holiday. Successful candidate will start on a 3 month trial as standard company procedure. All candidates should be over 18 and must live in the Leicester area. They must be able to easily commute to our premises in Blaby, Leicester, LE8 4GZ.
